Entrance assist handle (clear acrylic)

I am looking for the clear acrylic/plastic part of the handle that you grab to assist going up the steps into the MH. We have a 2001 Tradewinds. The acrylic part finally broke in two. It is curved and approximately 11 inches long. I know National RV used them on many of their motor homes as did many other brands. I found one place where I can buy the entire handle including the chrome ends for about $50 plus freight, but would really like to find just the clear acrylic part for replacement. I would appreciate any help. Thank you.

On a related subject, we'd like to get one of the swing-out assist handles to replace the skinny little thing my wife can't reach until she's on the second step.

Any ideas on a source?
