Carried our 95 HR Vacationer into a professional upholsterier today and got estimate for replacing sagging vinyl headliner. Involves dropping all existing cabinets, tearing out all old foam (which is disentergrating and the root of the problem) and replacing with new 3/8" foam and gluing (special glue @ $160 per gallon).
Material Costs- $600
Labor Costs- $1800 (40 manhours @ $45 hr.)
I think we will go with it. Has done MH's before.
Is this a good estimate? Thanks

larry I spoke to alot of Winnebago owners that had Vinyl foam backing problems and alot of them replaced them at there cost. I feel the money Winnebago made in sales they should repair this problem . the knew about this in 1988 and still used this product. If this company want to keep a quality product they should tell the customers I Contacted Winnebago twice, the just say just replace it there contact is or@Winnebagoind.com this should have been a customer recall!
