I have applied Eternabond on the top of my MH outside and front seams.
I thought about using it on my skylight and other roof extrutions like the TV antenna and FM antenna. The problem that I was worried about is the removal, if I should have to replace something like the skylight. Is that really a problem that I may need to worry about? Do any of you use the eternabond around other things like the skylight? Thanks .............

It would be hard to remove. It is a great product but even the instructions tell that removal is hard. I would go to Lowes if you have one and get the small 4 inch roll of flashing for the sky light. It has the seal on one side and silver flashing on the other. Works great and is removable

I removed some with a heat gun. Due to not having cleaned properly before using it,, Removal was not that hard..

If it is installed properly, you won't have to remove it because of leaks. However if some other failure forces the removal, it is hard to get off. I've never had to do it, but my thoughts were that you could cut the eternabond "at the joint", and leave the roof half attached. Remove the problem part with the eternabond attached, then apply new eternabond overtop of the new part and the old half left on the roof. Eternabond will stick very well to itself assuming it is clean...

I have EternaBond on all items on the roof. Just what you plan to do. For me, I don't care how hard it is to get off. If any of these components needs major repair I'll hire out the job to a professional company. They should know how to remove EternaBond. My objective was/is to prevent water intrusion. So far, so good.

I've never put that much trust in Eternabond. There's some really good caulks on the market that I prefer using for smaller seams.

Eternabond is a great product! I used the 4" tape to reseal all the large openings on the MH, and Dicor 502LSW self-leveling sealant on all the small stuff such as vents, TV antenna, etc.

It's not hard to remove with a heat gun or hair dryer (on a warm day), but I'd use a good sealant for the nuts/bolts on these areas (anything that is not a flat surface).
