I am planning to install the Eternabond Roof Seal/One Step product on the roof seams of our 2003 Gulf Stream Sun Voyager and was hoping that one of our forum members might have this product installed on their coach and can tell me how well it works.
The reason I am interested in Eternabond Roof Seal is I had the entire front re-caulked last year because of a leak in an over head bin and now it has started leaking again.
Any input would be appreciated.

Larry, the stuff works great. There is a couple of extensive discussions here that go into some detail on how to install. I did one, and I think Jim Bob did another. Just do a 'find'.
Use the plastic backed type not the fabric backed. You have to paint the UV protector on the fabric and the texture tends to hold black spots.
It is not hard to do, you just have to be careful. Took me about 4 total hours to do the entire roof edge on a 36 foot coach.

Doc, thank you for your response. You just confirmed what I read on the companies website. If the weather will cooperate here in Bedford Texas over the next few days I will get the roof seal installed on at least the front of coach where the leak is causing problems now. The remainder of the coach can wait until after the much needed rain that is forcasted for next week...

Be aware that it is thick material and does not conform well on compund curves. I had problems at the corners of my rear cap, where the side and cap seams meet and the cap is molded in a kind of a free-form curve. Never could get it wrinkle free at that point and ended up cutting away the Eternabond and caulking it instead. It was just too ugly otherwise. As for the rest of the seams, it went on nicely and the stuff is great. You should never have to caulk again where the Eternabond is installed.

RV Roamer, thank you for the tip. I have a similar situation on our coach and was a bit concerned on how well the tape would adhere to curved surfaces. Your timing was perfect, since the weather is supposed to be dry the first of next week for me to do my installation.
I also have a tip of my own: This tape can be purchased at www.bestmaterials.com ETERNABOND ROOFSEAL WHITE 4" X 50' ROLL for $42.49 a roll. I bought my first 4" X 37' roll at Camping World on sale for $64.00.

I am having some of the aluminum backed tape eternabond installed on my front cap to roof this week in Colleyville TX. at Hodges Automotive, and probley get the roof rolled with some rubber sealant also.
Shop rate around $60.00 an hour and good honest bunch of guys. If anyone wants their number PM me and Ill give it to you.
