Everpure problem

My water filter started to pour out black water only in the kitchen sink and only on cold water, my filter system still was clear, replaced the filter and again the same problem, any clues.

When the filter fails it will sometime release charcoal particles that are visible when you run the water. A new filter will also do it to when it's first changed. I usually run the water for a minute or two and it goes away.
