I did something I think looks good, but really close to tackey. I spray painted the last 10 inches of both exaust pipes with chrome motor paint. Looks good, wive says almost "tackey."

Tell her to be glad you only had one can and didn't paint the entire rig chrome.

I would probably think it looked cool. Of course I'm from the 50's when we used to do all kinds of things to our rides.

If the paint job does not satisfy you long term-you can buy the real deal, mfg. by US Gear, for about $40-45 each I got mine from a vendor at FMCA-Perry and, of course, I think they look great! My wife thinks.....oh who cares what she thinks, the outside is MINE.....I think ED
