Extended Warranties on new coaches

I am purchasing a 2017 Tiffin Phaeton and being offered Cornerstone Extended Warranty. Can anyone give an opinion based on experience with purchasing an extended warranty please.
Thank you
DJ

I would not even consider an extended policy until after the initial one year warranty runs out. If you buy a four year overpriced policy from a dealer, you are actually only getting three years of coverage. You will be covered bumper to bumper for the first year, then two more years on the chassis and four more on the engine and transmission. In addition, always read the fine print closely as to what they do and do not cover. Some policies require that you do expensive yearly service checks or your policy will be canceled. After the initial year warranty expires and you still want a policy, then check out Wholesale Warranties and similar coverage.

I have used Coach-Net and have had very good service. A lot less cost than the dealership. Pick one just before your factory warranty expires to avoid a inspection.
