Every one has complaints voiced about their service, reliability, response time, etc. The single most important thing to remember is to get a contract that not only lists covered items, it must also list what is not covered (exclusionary clause). The next most important is to read the terms and conditions closely. Not following the exact procedure is the cause of most denied claims.
Virtually all the extended service contracts are sold by brokers, wholesalewarranties.com, Good Sam, etc. are brokers not the contracted service company. Run an internet search for RV extended service contracts, then search for BBB complaints against each one, that's a start for finding a company that works for you.

I had a bad experience with ACC Warranty Service this year and would never advise anyone to deal with them. It was an awful experience from the very start. I have noticed on the BBB website they have an "F" rating! Their representative Steve Burgess (president) is unprofessional in his tone and spoke to me in a very condescending manner to the point he was almost threatening when I simply asked a question about the stated reason why my claim was denied. Here it is folks, even though you are being sold an "exclusionary" coverage policy, no matter what item fails or breaks in your RV, their policy "will not cover anything related to cracks in metal or plastic". Do you know what part of your RV is not metal or plastic? So what does that tell you. I can't think of any product failure that can't be related to a crack in metal or plastic. Also, they offer a full refund of your premium within 30 days of initiation and I was promised a refund 58 days ago and still don't have it! When I called to ask questions while shopping for a warranty, I spoke with Steve Burgess and he would promptly return my calls or respond to my email. But once I cancelled the warranty, that changed, now I always get someone on the phone but when it comes to the refund, no one can talk to you besides this Steve Burgess guy and he is never available and hasn't returned my calls or responded to my email. You have been warned, I advise people to avoid http://www.accws.us

Smith, if you do a search on ESPs, you will find a lot of threads regarding this topic and the good, bad, and ugly companies out there. Good luck!

Rt 66 has been very good for us mainly because our dealer understands how to process the claims and go through the system properly. If you never use them I guess you are fortunate to not have any large item fail on your coach. Good luck!

ACC Customers - Contact Indiana Attorney General ASAP

To All Disgruntled/Dissatisfied ACC Warranty Customers:
Today, 9/2/2014, I called Mark Snodgrass at the Indiana Attorney General's office regarding our ability to be part of their case against ACC Warranty. Per Mr. Snodgrass, they filed the lawsuit against ACC Warranty 1.5-2 weeks ago.

However, due to so many people contacting the Indiana Attorney General's office since they filed the suit, Mr. Snodgrass said they will be amending the lawsuit to incorporate more people's claims. Therefore, you need to call Mr. Snodgrass, 317-234-6784, ASAP if you want to be part of this lawsuit.

ACC Warranty and Steve Burgess fraud

Thanks for posting that info. I spoke with Mr Snodgrass and it sounds like Steve Burgess has finally screwed enough people that the Indiana Attorney General office had to step in! I'm glad that legal action is now taking place against ACC Warranty and Steve Burgess. I will also be adding my name to the 35+ people who have made formal written complaints against ACC with the Indiana AG. This type of unprofessional dirt bag needs to do jail time for fraud. Its a shame that thieves and criminals can set up a business, take peoples money and then leave town and start a new business and repeat the process.
