EzPass and TxToll Tag

We have Texas Toll Tag on our RV windshield. We are headed up East so I got the NC EzPass. Can they both be on the window at the same time? Obviously the TexTag won’t work on EzPass.

Yes. I had a Texas NTTA toll tag on my windshield along with an EZPass when we went northeast year before last and had no problems at all. You won't regret having the EZPass. It will save you time and money.

yes its just an RFID transmitter....big brother sees you everywhere.

i ran our HOA gate security system for 4 years, toll tags popped up all the time as folks drove up, so we added them to the mix and the gates opened based on the signal..

YES to your question. You will love using the kind folks at NC, too. They are extremely competent, responsive to questions, and their tag also works in place of the Florida "SunPass" and in GA. Only TX won't recognize it, so you need to keep your TxTag account as well.

Just a question about your NTTA Toll Tag - do you also have one on your toad? If so, do you get double-charged when scanned?

I have never been double billed in Texas, but I did get double billed on the Oklahoma turnpike one time which may be their policy. I think NTTA has software that if two tags come through on the same account in close proximity they don't double bill. With these new "permanent" tags you can't pull them off and put them in a RFID blocking bag like the old tags.
