Need help! I'm a newbee to the rv world. I just purchased a 2004 Winnebago Vectra. Unfortunately, it has a broken fan and shroad. It was also missing a little hubcap for a front aluminum wheel. Any ideas on where to get these? The factory needs 38 days to deliver.

Thanks,

Lloydu

I wrote a thread earlier but it seems to have disappeared.

I recently bought my first rv and the fan and shroud are broken. Winnebago needs at least 38 days to deliver the parts to McCoy Freightliner in Woodburn, OR. I am also missing a little hubcap from a front wheel. Any ideas where where I can get these parts sooner/cheaper?

Thanks,

Lloydu

Lloydu it didn't disappear it's in the MH-General discussion forum, you can always find your post by looking at your profile subscribed posts. Sorry I don't have your brand or model rig so only help would be to suggest trying Colaw Rv salvage http://www.colawrvsalvage.com/UsedRV...6/Default.aspx
And welcome to the forums

If it's on a Freightliner chassis you can get some help from 800-FTL-HELP (800-385-4357) in Gaffney, SC. Have the last 6 digits of your VIN# ready. They can give you the part numbers of what you need and can order the parts for you, probably faster than Winnebago.

Get tour chassis parts from Freightliner (direct) or a FL dealer. No need or reason to go to Winnie for them - they just have to order from FL anyway.

Can not help with the fan issue, but you can by the hub caps at a good truck stop. Big trucks use the same rims. They also have a good price on the lug nut caps if anyone is looking for some.
