I have a bracket for one of the awnings on my MH that has come off exterior the side. It looks like it's supposed to help reset one of the mechanisms when the awning over the slide out retracts.

In any case, one of these fell off. It was anchored to the side panel with 2 #10 screws and a tape like adhesive.

I'm going to move to larger #12 screws. I'll find something to replace the adhesive but I'm wondering if anyone has found any type of anchor appropriate for use in fiberglass panels in case the #12 screws don't have enough on which to bite?

Larry

If you are in a large city you may have a fastener distributor there.

Lookup fasteners in the yellow pages and call them, you are looking for a blind nut, there are many different types, and a well stocked trained supplier will be able to locate exactly what you need.

Here is one near here, if they do not have anything you are out of luck.

Your sidewalls are probably a fiberglass skin laminated to luan plywood backing. Use an anchor similar to what you would use in plywood. You can even use a molly bolt if there is space behind it. Whether you use an anchor or not, remember to caulk well before setting the bracket in place.
