I have a '99 M/H with a fiberglass roof that has been exposed to FL sun all it's life. It is bleached clean and looks chalky and dry and I'd like to do the job right. What chemical treatments and/or sealers are recommended and how to apply?
Also, should I touch up the caulking before or after the treatment?
Thank you.

I previously owned a 97 Adventure with that problem. I used a power bufer and a good cleaner. I then waxed it using Gel Gloss. Lots of elboe grease but it turned out good.

I would check with a marine/boat store such as West Marine.

Gary,

I am in the process of applying PolyGlow on my 95 Vectra here in Tampa Bay. It was badly chalked and the windows would get streaked every time it rained. The initial cleaning was a bear but now that its done keeping it that way promises to be a walk in the park.

You can view their web site if you want too see their videos etc:

Regards,

Neil
