Fire Extinguisher replacement
Decided to replace the FE in the coach since it's coming up on 8 years old. I noticed it's a class B&C type (prob explains why it's white & not red). All of the "normal" FE types I can find are class A,B,C. I haven't gone online & looked yet for the B&C type. I'm thinking the ABC type would leave more residue if I had to use it in the coach, do the B&C types not leave as much?? Hopefully I'll never have to find out!!

It will answer lots of your questions.  He has a great selection of products available too. My choice is the foam extinguishers. I don't use those old baking soda powder inside my RV as they pack and settle and if used, the airborne dust particles would go into all the electronics.

If it is white it may be a gas type like halon.
As long as the guage indicates pressure it is good.
You can have it inspected at any FE business that does inspections for a few bucks to get a fresh tag, better for insurance and peace of mind.
They also can provide correct instruction for the use of that device and others in your specific MH.
You will find it money well invested.
Call a few first, some are better than others while some are not suitable to take out the trash regarding helping the customer.

We still have the small extinguisher that came with the MH in the front, but we bought a larger unit rated at 3A 40BC to keep in the bedroom. That small unit up front is not much good except for maybe a small stove fire.

Coast Guard taught me something about the powder fire extinguisher. A least once a year shake the unit to loosen up the powder & prevent the powder from caking at the bottom.

For any of those that have a DP with a slide out generator......I made a mount in the slide out that holds a large extinguisher up against the generator door. It gives me access to the extinguisher without unlocking anything.

Don: having an extinguisher where you can get to it easily seems like a good idea...Not the time it look for keys...My 90 Cruise Master had a Fire Extinguisher in the genny compt.and a decal next to that door....
