Fixin up interior floors-

I ran across an '06 Bounder that had it's interior floors completely redone from "stem to stern". Looks great to me- What do you think?

He, Todd, will do it in laminate, tile, or whatever you might want. I love how he tied all the edges in using hand made pieces of carpet (your choice) instead of quarter round (toe) molding.

Here is the business web site pictures of a '97 Gulfstream that he has re-finished. I know the cost will be far, far less than buying a new rig- You can click on the black bar at the bottom of the motorhome pic and "fast forward" and select the interior pics.

He is located near Charleston, SC. He would like the rig for about 2-3 weeks to get all his people scheduled in with all the various skills required to do a job like this. Ball park cost, around $4K.

Looks nice but I really don't like the carpet transition pieces in lieu of wood trim. Different strokes, etc. ... my preference is absolutely NO carpet in an RV. However, thanks for the link ... it's always nice to see pics of a re-do !!

Not real sure why you would want carpet transitions and edging....not my cup o tea, but hey to each their own. I am sure I have things others don't like....lol

Different way to finish the edges. I don't use any trim.

That might be the original carpet that he left around the edges as most RV's have the carpet put in before the interior and the walls and everything sits on top of it. I put down laminate floor completely in my 96 Suncruiser and I had to cut the old carpet out around all the walls and I installed 1/4 round. I think this place just cuts the carpet 2-3 inches in from everything and leaves it for a border instead of finishing it off with 1/4 round. I remember seeing another dealer down in TX that had Class A's on eBay and he used to do the same thing, leave about 2-3 inches of carpet because it was faster and cheaper to do it that way.
