FixIt Kit

I am thinking of putting together a kit with some items to fix those things that break or go wrong while out in the Boonies.
So far I have in my mind and around the place,
Hose clamps.
Fuses.
Various nuts n bolts
wire connectors.
Bungee cords.
What about plumbing hoses for water etc?
What do you Fine Folks here carry with you, for that, " Just in case" time.
Thanks for your input.

I carry a piece of 1/2 inch pex with the clamps and tool. Also spare washers for garden hoses.

I have several multipack containers of screws nuts bolts sheet metal screws, fuses etc. Wet tank repair tape, duct and metal tape, wire, and other odd pieces collected over the years. I keep some light tools in the coach and heavier tools in the basement.

I have been meaning to put together a plumbing repair kit now that I live and rv in a freezing climate.

Assuming you have tools, lets pass that.
First, WD40 is not a lubricant, it is a drying agent.
So add penetrating oil to the list. I hope you are carrying some lube oil.
You have duck tape, but add black electrical tape because the two are not interchangeable.
JB-Weld is good stuff, and can mend a lot.
I have just started using one of these UV set "As seen on TV" glue sets, and it is pretty good, but does not bond to everything.

This is a kit for "Not Too Far into the Wilderness". If you are planning to be very far away from civilization, you have to be well prepared. But honestly, I would not take anything that is actually a motorhome that far off real roads.

All good. Keep em coming.
I do have tools and a battery powered , umm, drill gizmo, lol, with attachments. I use it a lot. I do need some more duct tape. That comes in handy. On my old pickup with no cup holders, the duct tape roll worked great for that, right behind my floor shift.
I will make a list after further thoughts. Thank you all.

A credit card won't fix anything if there is no one to do the fixing, parts to repair it, and knowledge on what's wrong. Especially in the boonies.

It's easy to get carried away with tools. Most places in North America that a rv would break down is within an hour of some type of auto parts or big box store. That being said, I carry a complete metric & standard socket set, a 25lb bag of hand tools, a multimeter, spare fuses and bulbs.

Maybe more important than tools, we should consider some spare parts. A year ago we spent the night in a parking lot on the Minnesota/Wisconsin border waiting for a alternator from Chicago(that was the closest one). Even though I had the tools and the blown alternator in my hand an hour after it quit we lost 2 days waiting for the part.

So with this new to me coach I will carry a set of plugs and plug wires, distributor cap & rotor, fan belt, and seriously considering a alternator and water pump. Much of this stuff can be the old take off parts from doing preventive maintenance, so zero cost except for storage space and weight.
