I have a 96 Southwind 36'(Ford drivetrain) and cannot find the flasher module for the turn signals anywhere. I was checking the lights on my toad and everything worked until I activated the hazards, then I noticed the turn signals quit working after that. I have already checked all three of the fuse boxes, and all fuses are good. The brake lights and markers work fine on both the coach and toad. Turn signals will no longer work with or without the toad. It's got to be either turn signal stalk or the flasher module, but more likely the flasher module. Has anybody had this problem with their Southwind?

Regardless of the make/chassis brand, if not located with/near the fuse box, the flasher modules for gassers are almost always under the dash hanging from it's connector among the rat's nest of wiring. They can be hard to find, but I have normally found them by lying on the floor with all quiet and let it click. Since it isn't working, you likely have no click to listen to, which leaves you to searching with a long arm to see if you can feel it.

Some use the same flasher for the turn signal and the hazards, some use one for each. If you hazards are still working, you may be able to find it by listening for the click. Then you will know that isn't the one you need to find, and also pretty much what you are feeling for as it will normally be the same or very similar shape.

Good hunting!!

It was the stalk switch, I decided to go ahead and take the steering colloum apart, and disassembled the stalk switch. the contacts were green with corrosion, cleaned them and now everything works again. As for the flasher module, once I got the flashers to work, I found it mounted at the base of the steering colloum behind two other relay boxes, never would have seen it if it wasn't clicking.
