Fleetwood Flair Neutral Safety Switch?

I have been in an RV park for 3 nights. I tried to get back on the road again but can't go anywhere. The engine starts fine, sounds good but when I put it in gear the engine shuts off. Someone mentioned a neutral safety switch. Where is this located?

We need to know what we are working on! Most of the switchs are screwed into the side of the transmission.

To get help, you need to post chassis make. Also does the engine die as soon as you select drive? Does it idle in drive O.K. but dies when you give it the gas? If it idles O.K in drive and then dies when you push down on the gas pedal, that would be the sign of a weak gas pump or a clogged air intake system.

On my coach if a slide is out it won't even try to start. Don't know how yours is set up.

It helps if we have more info....see my link.

I have a favor to ask

Let us know what you discover.

If it starts it is not the neutral switch, that is to prevent starting while in gear.

You got something else going on, not sure about an interlock that would kill the engine.

Read the owners manual.

If your Flair is is on a Workhorse P32 chassis, it could be your Auto-park brake.
