Where can we puchase folding reflective sunshades for our front window? The larger size for motorhomes, similar to the ones used in cars. Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks.

Hi, We found a well stocked Hardware store in Shipshawanna,Indiana right across from a Great well known Flea Market. It was sold in bulk form. I think it may be used for farms.Perhaps a Farm and Tractor supply would also stock it.

I've seen them at Camping World . . . also other RV supply stores. We don't know where you are, so hard to give very specific advice.
By the way, you might take a look on eBay --- could save some money in comparison to the many high $$ stores.
Good luck.

Go down to your nearest big box hardware and purchase a roll of reflectorized bubble sheeting. It comes in a roll. You can cut to your specifications and get a good fit. It rolls up for storage very easily. I also use it in my bedroom windows under the day night shades. It helps keep the coach cooler in summer, warmer in winter, but best of all it makes my bedroom very dark for naps. It usually comes in two different widths, one will certainly fit your needs. A whole roll will probably cost less than one sunshield in a store.

The one we saw looked like round eyeglasses and folded in a twist like manner, similar to the clothes hampers that fold up. That is what we are looking for as it is really compact and easy to store.

That's what we did. It rolls up nicely when not in use. And it's thicker than the sunscreen ones. Does a better job of reflecting the heat/cold. After all Reflectix IS a heat barrier, then sunscreen ones aren't.

In the US, I'm afraid.
If they do not have them at the Wal Mart there you could ask them to bring one up. Sounds weird, I know but I bought something at a Southern California Wal Mart and they did not have one in my local one, in the PNW.
They went into the inventory software and had one put on the next Wal Mart truck coming up north. Took a couple of weeks but I got it and they didn't charge me for shipping, just the cost of the item.
The funny thing is they now stock that item. The item retailed for $3.00

Thank you Sheila. Do you remember what the item was called and who manufactures them?

Camping World sells 4'X8' sheets, works great for the front window. Smaller presized pieces work for the side windows.

We have the custom made front and side sunscreens that attach to the outside of the coach. During the daytime we can see out and no one can see in. I am sure everyone is familiar with this type. Unfortunately with the lights on inside at night people can see in. That is why we are looking for the rounded shades that twist together in a neat package and are easy on and off and easy to store. We would be removing them every morning and putting them back up every evening. We are lucky snowbirds and sit down south 5 1/2 months of the year. I probably should have explained this better to start with! Sorry.
