I have a 2000 Flair with a V10 that wont start I replaced the crank postion sensor and it staretd for a spell then it shut off. I have fuel pressure there is a code for cylinder head temp sensor i installed a new still no start. any help out there. Thanks

travler11 looks like you have a real problem on your hands that may need to be resolved in the Ford repair shop. How much fuel pressure do you have? Not sure what Ford's specs on fuel pressure is, but probably 35psi or more. If you have that much pressure, then perhaps either the injectors are malfunctioning or you're not getting spark. I know Ford has that overheating protection mode where if it overheats it will go into a limp mode then eventually shut down. Perhaps there's a malfunction in that circuit. The other possibility is the Engine control module could be bad.

Had similar problem with my 99. Mine was the safety breaker located on the steering column under the dash. Its happened twice, just won't start after I turn the motor off. Reset an alls fine again.

Definitely check the emergency fuel shut off.
