I don't know if it's just me, or if other people have this problem also. I had three slight leaks where the fresh water lines screw together. I had just sanitized the system, and refilled with fresh water. I was also on pump pressure, not city water pressure. One was under the bathroom sink at the connections for the icemaker water filter. The other was under the kitchen counter where the flexable lines connect to the pex lines. I was able to tighten the connections and stop the drips. Do the rubber cone seals dry out after a while and need to be replaced? I had similar problems with my old TT, I had to check the connections at the water heater and faucets to make sure they weren,t dripping.

Yes, it could be an either or situation. If the seals sit for a while with no water in the line, they can dry out and get hard. Or sometimes simple vibration will cause them to loosen a bet. Either way the fix is pretty easy. If the seals need replaced they can be had at most RV supply stores for pretty cheap.

Jimary, I've got to tighten mine every so often also. Of course I don't winterize so I guess mine is from the vibration of traveling.

Maybe I'm lucky, but in 12 years of halftime RVing, I don't ever remember a connection loosening up and leaking. I had one fitting break (on a new coach too!) and a couple that leaked a day or two after I had removed and re-installed them for one reason or another. The latter two just needed an bit if extra tightening.

Update. I got up yesterday morning and went out check my leaks. Under the bathroom sink was dry, but still had a small leak under the kitchen counter. I got some new seals, replaced them last night, will go out and check again before work. Got my fingers crossed. Also replaced the drinking water filter under the kitchen sink, that appeared to seal up ok.
