My norcold 1200 series worked but was not REAL cold. After reading other people's chit chat about fridge fans, my inspection found my fridge did not have any fans. Zero. I found abandoned wiring from the controller to the top area but no fan.
Amazing that some former owner apparently ripped out the excellent pair of Norcold factory fans. What could he have been thinking of? They are highly reliable, very functional, and darn near silent. Never heard them at all except on a hot night in a very silent campground.

I am betting that most slide mounted refers have fans. At least mine does and I added two more at the bottom. I have had to replace one of the top fans and the snap controller.

Fridge fans added in chimney

Pages 34-38 show the two fans on the rear of both roof and slide installations.
