Kevin, welcome to iRV2.com. We are glad to have you join us here. Sorry to hear of the problem in such hot weather. How long has it been since the last operation of the air conditioner? Starting the generator while on shore power should not be a problem as the transfer switch will only allow one at a time to enter the coach. The generator taking precidence when it is running. You may have separate return vents and no central return and this makes for a quieter operation. Could it be that the compressor is running and the fan is not? If so You could have an obstruction around the fan blower or blade or just a stuck motor. If you can get on the roof and remove the shroud, you can check this easy enough. Let us know what you find and what level of electrical/mechanical skills you have.
