My engine front main bearing seal is leaking badly, on my 2002 workhorse chassis. I have only 27000 miles on my rig. Has anyone else had the problem. My warranty ended
March 23,2005. . My local truck repair doesn't want to attempt to repair because of the aluminum pan etc.

I think I would still call the warranty dept of Workhorse and see if they would not fix it for you-- for free IMHO s/Toby

You might also check directly with GM, the engine builder. They advertise the 8.1L as a 200,000 mile engine and might be willing to help with the repairs to maintain the reputation of the engine. At the worst they should be able to advise of a place where the repair can be done.
