Thanks for info on the structual components, Jay. I worked with civil engineers for almost 10 years so I understand the stability of a bridge truss. That helps narrow my mfr choices down considerably.

Interesting perspectives, I haven't had any issues with my FWS, it was stressed to me by the Mfg to never stop will putting the slide in or out due to the synchronization of the motors. I know the depth of my slide and if I'm in doubt before extending I take tape outside to check for the obstacles I have question on and measure prior to extending while the coach is leveling.

jeryan59 - Since you've got an AC coach, Jay's explanation in post 14 probably explains why you've not had binding issues. Your coach frame is sufficiently engineered to handle it.
