We want to replace the furniture (captains chairs, sofa, recliner) in our newly bought older Rv anybody have any good-bad or ugly on any of the dealers you can find online? The captain chairs are short back I guess, when I set and lean back my head it goes on top of the seat not against it so we want to get the higher back chairs. I heard flexsteel is the best? Any input is greatly apreciated.

Take a look at McKinney RV-Alabama RV Dealer, Red Bay AL, RV Service. He has a huge warehouse of used (a lot of it is new from people making modifications to their coaches shortly after purchase) furniture of all sorts. He's located in Red Bay, AL across the street from the Allegro Service Center and campground.

We recommend any of the previously suggested furniture suppliers except for DiscountVanTruck.
We used them and did not have a happy experience. The only advantage that I can see to dealing with them is that they are definitely cheaper.
For the hassle of doing business with them, they have to be.

We recently replaced the captains chairs with new Flexsteel from Bradd and Hall. Very satisfied.

Well, this may sound cheap BUT, we completely remodeled our living in the coach and all furniture was from a REGULAR furniture store. We just purchased a jack knife sofa, top brand name, microfiber and leather, for $400.00 and it fits perfect under the window, looks great AND VERY comfortable!! Also we got a used leather euro recliner from Craigs List for 100.00 and after research, found that it sold new, a year ago, for $800.00! The deals are out there, ya just gotta go shopping.
We researched the RV furniture places, local and on the websites, and found cost versus quality, for our needs, was not cost effective. Also, most places you cannot try it out, you know, sit on it, touch it, etc. unless you are fortunate enought to live across the street from the manufacture.
We did break down and buy a "leather sofa bed" a year ago, "made for RV's", and had it shipped to us and what a mastake, not real leather, (it was noted in the fine print) hard, bed and drawer very difficult to open, and it cost use over $750.00 but we were fortunate to be able to sell it at a fair price to someone that could use it.
Another point, we, and I am sure others out there, have the day/night shades..... well, we had strings break and the DW was real tired of how they operate, you know how they work, so we removed all of them and replaced them with a roller shade from Home Depot that works up and down by a chain, VERY easy to operate and really look great. $45.00 each!! 20 minutes to install!!
So that's my 2 cents on RV furniture. I just feel in this economy we (us) just have to be prudient and smart. I hope I didn't upset anyone, but we been there done that, AND don't have alot of money to just through around.

I second the Brad and Hall recommendation. They have Flexsteel as well as Lambright and are an excellent company to do business with.
