The big elephant in the room is "Gasoline". The news media concentrates on the price of gas and how people are suffering. When the news media gets around to explaining how the price of diesel prices effects our daily life's the price may even out.

If you think the oil companies are making so much money, become a owner, buy their stock. Then you can share in the profits, neet how the free enterprise system works.

I wouldn't trade the free enterprise system for anything. However, I don't like all of the federal subsidies still playing into the equation.

Many market traders are hedging against a declining dollar by purchasing crude oil futures contracts. The current pricing isn't supported by the fundamentals where U.S. inventories are actually growing and demand is declining slightly. Crude prices should, therefore, be dropping.
