For those of you that have the Garmin Streetpilot, have you had any problems with the suction mount loosing it's suction? Mine doesn't seem to want to stay fastened to the mounting plate. Mines a C340, but I believe they all have the same suction mount.

Have found if you didn't have it mounted for a while and was useing it in car the disk would collect dust and would have to cleaned off or dirt would get in suction cup and would fall off disk.
Cleaned both with windex no problem after.
Tried to mount without disk on dash and would fall off after a while the dash surface was a little porous so had to use disk on top of dash.

Stuborn, I have a 340 also and love it. Just clean the round plate and make sure the surface you are attatching to is flat. I lick my finger and run it around the plate. I practically have to break the glass to get it off. My wife calls the stuff "Super spit" Good luck
