I would love to see gas at $0.50. I'm an old gear head who grew up in the muscle car era.

The only issue is that as gas prices drop, the incentive for hybrid / electric vehicles decreases.

GAS WAR !!!!! I remember back in 1962 while station in San Antonio the price war was in full swing. We thought 19 Cents was expensive compared to a period when we were filling my Simca for 9 cents a gallon. Just prior to that in the late 50's I recall paying about 29 cents a gal. to fill my 49 Chevy Deluxe or my Buick 8 cyl roadmaster

for the low prices today you can blame, Wind, Solar and fracking for the huge reserves we see now. Also the fact that Iran is now free to export just adds to the barrel of fun. With huge amounts of oil sitting in shipping lanes waiting to unload and massive fuel storage facilities fill to capacity - you won't see higher fuel for a while.
google my Cousin Tom Kloza, Toms River NJ. He is the oil guru of the world
https://twitter.com/tomkloza , OPIS Team | Oil Price Information Service,
With all his insight he never warned me about higher $4.00 gas price before I bought my 2 gal per mile yacht. so I sold it and got a MH. Then Diesel jump to $4.00 - Thanks Tom.
