At a Chapter campout last weekend, the subject of 10% ethonal gas came up. One member made the statement that Onan had changed their requirement on ethonal type gas saying in their new manuals that not more then 5% ethonal gas should be used. Has anyone seen or heard of this before? Anyone with say, a 07 to 09 unit might have this in thier Onan manual.

Marty, this is from the ONAN website:
Observe fuel recommendations for warm-weather travel:

Gasoline Generators - Use a good grade of regular unleaded gasoline.
Ethanol Blend - Not more than 10% ethanol.
Methanol Blend - Not more than 5% methanol with solvents and corrosion inhibitors.
LPG Generators - Use clean, HD-5 grade liquid propane gas in a mixture of at least 90% propane.
Diesel Generators - Use No. 2 diesel fuel with a minimum Cetane number of 45.

Operating Genset in Hot Weather

Good Luck - Glenn

Thanks Glen: I searched the Onan site before posting, evidently I didn't search in the right place.
