Generac 55 Generator wont start

Hi gang I have a generic gen set in my Damon and I took it out 2 years ago and had it fully serviced and have not started it since and now when I am selling it it won't start?? It is in class A 1995 damon on 1994 F53 chassis Any suggestions? How much gas do I need in my tank? is there a way to give it a quick drink of gas ?Thank you

You can take off the air filter cover and spray starting fluid into the carb. You will have to have over 1/4 tank of gas. !/3 to be sure.

If it had gas in the carb when it was last started two years ago there is a good chance the carb is gummed up, it may require removal and cleaning.
