Smile Generac coolant drain?

I thought I would be able to find the answer to this question but have not had any luck. How do I drain the coolant from my Quiet Pact 75D generator? Is there a petcock somewhere I hope? Do I use the same coolant as is in my Cummins ISL? Thanks for any help you can give me.

There is a drain cap underneath the generator which you remove in order to drain the antifreeze. You can put the same antifreeze in the generator as in your ISL. The generator is not an wet sleeved engine so the anti freeze type is not critical. I installed the same as in the ISL engine to keep it simple. I changed the ISL over to an OAT based antifreeze last year. No mare SCA worries.

Generac Coolant drain

Harry;
Could you be a little more specific. I have looked under there and either didn't see it or was looking in the wrong place. Is it in the front or the rear with the controls on your left? Is it on the passenger side or drivers side? Thanks

Art .... I am sorry but I just noticed on your post header, that you have a Generac generator and I was assuming it was the more common Onan 7500 Quiet Diesel.
My Onan has the drain cap right in the same opening that the muffler comes out of.

If you have a manual, on page 21 shows the location of everything on the underside of the generator. The coolant drain plug is located near the exhaust outlet. It is not under any of the access covers.
