Generac making noise

Unit has been working fine until today. It Quietpas 75D. Oil and filters have been changed. The unit works fine with no load, however, when the AC click on, a squilling noise is made and it sounds like the unit wants to bog down but it will continue to run. It will run normal for about 4 minutes and the noise will com back. Help Please

Fan belt loose? My Onan 7.5kw diesel would make a brief squealing occasionally when the A/C compressors cycle on and off - found out it was the fan belt being a bit loose.
