Generator Power Issue

I have a 2003 Newmar Kountry Star with a Quietpact 75D by Generac. I am experiencing intermittent power problems but only 2 AC units. Everything else works fine until I power up the AC. The units run until 1 or the other compressors kick in, then it kills all the power. Also noticed variable airflow during the short run time. However; this is not always the case, sometimes it works fine and cools the coach just fine. I just never know when it's going to work and when it's not.

When I use the shoreline everything works fine. Could it be a bad or failing Voltage Regulator or Transfer Swith? With the variable fan speed I'm thinking Voltage Regulator. Anyone else experience a situation like this?

Here's something I learned yesterday, tighten the transfer switch contacts. The transfer switch has something like 26 screw in lugs holding the input and output of 3 four-wire sets, and a chassis ground. These lugs get loose after some time. With all power disconnected, shore, genny, and inverter, take a common #2 screwdriver to these lugs and tighten them to 40-ish foot pounds, which is about as tight as one can get. See if this helps. Can't hurt. Then, remove the cover from your 120v CB panel and do likewise in there.

I'll give that a try...won't hurt anything and would be wonderful if it solves the problem. Thanks, I'll let you know the results.
