Generator problems

Can any one suggest an Onan propane generator repair facility near Joliet, Illinois. The generator on my 1998 Discovery just clicks, does not turn over. The batteries checked out ok and battery connections are ok. Thanks

Have you Goggled "generator repair near joliet il"?

Another suggestion: If you have a ERS like CoachNet or Good Sam, call them.
They should be happy to help you locate an Onan propane generator repair facility..... (they both advertize that as a "included service" they provide for the yearly $$ you pay).

However, don't drive any distance before you call the contact and verify that your ERS knows what they are talking about, (aka: gave you reliable information).
When I had a refrigerator problem in PA, CoachNet sent me to a "travel trailer manufacturer", (100 miles out of my way).
It turned out that they installed Norcold fridges in the trailers they built.... but they did not service them

BTW, from your description I suspect that the "stater solenoid" on your Onan is bad.
I have gotten parts here: Onan® Starters : A.S.A.P.
