generator shut down

I need help!!! I have an owen 5500 genset that shuts down upon power up or if it does keep running it shuts down when you put any type of load on it. The code in the trouble shooting manual says that the battery is too small. It's the original battery and they seem to be OK.......Anyone had any problem like this .... and .... how did you fix it????
This only started to happen after I had some factory warranty work done. They did replace my engine battery with a smaller one but I have recently replaced that one with a 1,000 CCA battery.
Is it the coach batteries???? Like I said they seem to be fine. Is the code on the genset wrong. Any help will be appreciated. I'm leaving for Tennessee on Wednesday and don't have time to bring it into the shop.
Thanks again for any help...

Most Gen's start from the house batteries. Check your battery ground connections to your chassis frame and than check the Gen battery cable to chassis frame make sure they are both clean and tight to frame. If one is loose place a star washer under nut to keep it tight.
