The oil fill tube on the generator (CAT/Gentech)of my '04 KountryStar is in a difficult spot to reach. It's on the upper right (driver's)portion of the genset box but right below a main fuse box as well as wiring harness. Absolutely no room for proper access for filling or topping off the oil without making a bit of a mess..even with a flexable funnel tube. The short fill neck appears to be 3/4 or 5/8 cast but I can't tell if its screwes on at the genset casing or continues into the housing itself. I'd like to create an extension for ease of access. The genset is in a fixed position and very tight access all around. Options are few in those tight quarters. Anyone out there with a Newmar, SOB and similar problem and a good solution?

Bill, this should do it for you. If the plastic tubing is not long enough, or you need to put a plastic right angle fitting on the end of the tubing, you can buy the tubing and the plastic fittings at Home Depot, Lowes, and Ace hardware stores.

Lube oil pump

Good Luck - Glenn
