We happened to be looking at George Jones' touring bus and noticed he had these blue lights running down both sides of the coach--(on the bottom and could have been over wheel wells also) but they kind of looked like "rope lites"-
has anyone seen them ? or know where you would get them? or even what they are actually called?
Thanks

Not having much luck on an answer it appears. Just a suggestion - if you really want these things. Contact Hemphill Bros in Nashville. They lease coaches to a lot of the big wheels in show business and can probably give you the info you seek.

bertb,

Just remember, in many states if not all, every light on your rig must work. If you have 100 lights on the MH, 100 lights gotta light. You don't want to get stopped by a LEO having a slow night 'cause some of your pimp lights are burned out.

Personally, I want only enough lights to make me legal and safe.

It sounds to me like they might be those neon light tubes. They're popular with kids nowadays but they're illegal to use when driving. They're strictly for "off-road" (as in parking lot ) use. I'd check with some of the car tuner places. Try www.StreetGlow.com for starters.

Be honest with ya, I try not to drive after dark, rather be set up and enjoying the tv or company.
