I just replaced my GY G670 275/70R 22.5 with the same tire last Friday. I had over 38000 miles on the originals and they wore perfectly. The rebate sounds good. I will try to take advantage of it.

The good news...rebate extended to September 30.

The bad news...Not one dealer in the entire Hampton Roads, VA area (Norfolk, Suffolk, Newport News, Portsmouth, VA Beach, etc.) has 225 70R 19.5 in stock, or knows when they will be able to get them. Might as well extend it until those fabled cows come home if you can't get the tires.

I've never had so much trouble spending $1200!

Sometimes the unthinkable thoughts do creep in...is this whole RV deal really worth it?

I didn't see this mentioned in the earlier posts. See what the date of manufacture is before you buy.

Newbie to this forum but have been fulltiming for 8 yrs. Just replaced the 6 G670's on my 40 ft Safari. The reason for replacement was not mileage wear but rather age. The tires were 6 and a half years old, I have heard many horror stories of tires over 6 yrs old failing with disastrous results so I decided to shell out for the six now.
I talked to several dealers on price, etc. but found one major problem....according to a Goodyear Wingfoot dealer in NC who has done the routine rotation, etc for me in the past, the reason that Goodyear was offering the rebates is because they have an excess of tires in their warehouses that they need to get rid of. Since I would not accept any tire older than 4 months (according to the DOT date code) he could not help me as the newest tires he could get would have an 08 DOT.
I went Camping World and wrote up a work order for the six tires but included on the WO that the tires MUST be less than 4 months old by DOT. The supplier had to "cherry pick" his warehouse but did find newer tires for me.
Also...regarding edge wear on the steer axle tires I had this problem but was told that it was caused by misalignment of the rear axle...took the coach to Josam in Orlando who aligned the rear (not easy on Roadmaster chassis) which corrected the problem.

13K on my good years no problems. My last MH 38k same tires no problem. The only thing that I don't like is the cost.

I just payed $330 a tire. I had to replace 4 of them. 275 70R22.5's I don't even know what brand they were. It was a month ago. I will get the brand and post later. They seem to be a really good tire.
