Owner of a 2007 National Dolphin which is 1yr 5m0s old. I want to lubricate the slide tracks and gear works but thought I'd better ask which works best, a dry lube or a typical grease type. Also I'm having trouble keeping the living room slide parked in place while driving it wants to creep out about 3/4 of an inch at times. Is there an adjustment and procedure to follow to keep it parked securely in place?

Thanks Mike

Leaving on a 3 week tour of the north west so a quick response would be appreciated.

My Power Gear slides require no lube, per the manufacturer. Check the manual for your manufacturer's reccommendation.
Don't use anything that will attract dirt.

I have not heard of lubing the slides. Some one once mentions that theirs were dry so they would not lube them. Someone else said they spray them with silicone. So I would suggest you talk to the company that makes your rv or to a good reputable rv tech.

As for the slides creeping out some rigs come with screw type adjusters that set between the wall and slide to keep them in.
