There are two rubber bumpers (covers) covering the heads of bolts on either side of the engine in my 2003 36S Bounder. The rubber bumpers need replaced. So far, my dealer has struck out with Fleetwood twice; I have checked 4 auto parts suppliers and 3 hardware stores, all to no avail. Does anyone know where I can get two of those rubber bumpers (caps, covers, or whatever one cares to call them).?

John, I am having a hard time picturing in my mind what kind of bolts these rubber covers are on. Can you be a little more specific as to where the bolts are located and what is their function. Also do they have anything to do with your engine/chassis manufacturer or are they Fleetwood production items? I have two bolts with rubber caps that are on my hood latches, are they something like that?
Thanks - Glenn

The bolts with the rubber bumpers are as follows: The grill for the 36S has two key locks. Unlocking these allows the grill to be lowered to expose the engine. Approximately 6 - 10" from the top of this opening is a bolt on each side (screwed into the body of the RV. Those bolts have those rubber covers that just pop over the bolt heads. Their function is probably just to prevent the grill from rattling. If you think you can help me, and if you think it will help, I'll take digital pictures and e-mail to you. Thanks.

Try the HELP section of you local auto parts store. Many have a generic selection of these bumpers.

Generic Hood stop bumpers. Try NAPA Auto Parts.

Thanks for all the suggestions, but to use an expression: "been there, done that". Being retired, I have nothing better to do than search for these stupid rubber bumpers. Maybe I'll just get a part-time job and forget it.
Thanks.

Have you called Bill at Charlies RV in Randallstown? If you explain to him just like you did above, he can get them for you. The toll free phone # is 888-655-3899.
