Grover Air Horn valves

I had the air horn on my '01 Tradewinds quite working and after checking a whole bunch of things, finally found that the wires on the 12V electric valve had burned up.I took the cover apart to see if I could put new wires on it and found that that was totally fried also. After putting my problem on the National forum,I had one other person write and said that his had done the same thing.I contacted Grover and they told me to see if I could get one locally from a truck dealer and none of them had them in stock,so I'll be going back to Grover to get one.

Has anyone else had this problem and if so,did you find a reason for it to have happened.Mine worked and then it didn't.
