The last time I financed anything, except my home was when I bought a new 1966 car. drove me crazy to pay that interest; i swore I'd never finance another thing, and I haven't.
My truck ( is a 1985); my wifes car is a 1996; my motorhome is a 1999. and I've lived in my home 40 years and it's paid for. life is good and I'll do what it takes to keep it that way.
If I can't pay cash for it I don't buy it; that's realy hard sometimes but I just bite the bullet and do without.
Anyone can do it;
My total income is less than $30,000 a year, but on that I have traveled to nearly every national park in the USA been to every state more than once; retired at age 54 (25 years ago). I have received no inheritance; came to Florida with $20 dollars in my pocket; anyone can do it just takes willpower and determination.
