Hankook AH11 Tires, any good?

I to went with the ah12s last year.
ride is good, they are a higher weight capacity, and it took a few trips to get the air pressure right.
but they are as good as my brand new goodyears ever were.
i also went with the dyna beads balancing...

I have Hankooks on my Z06 corvette. There great tires. I wouldn't hesitate at all putting them on my motorhome

Yes! They have performed well with no problems.

I also have the Hankook AH12's on my coach. Three years old with 15k on them. They still look new and ride great!

With the passing of 19.5" wheels in favour of 22.5", I'm not aware of any mfg that even includes a spare tire these days, nor a place to mount it. Anyone know how much a 22.5" wheel and tire weighs?[/QUOTE]


I bought the Roadmaster spare tire carrier for my motorhome, it fits in the tow receiver and you can still tow a toad with it. No lifting required as it swivels down on a arm. Just installed it and it works great.

I agree with getting these valves-- they are not extensions(which will leak), but longer,specially bent valve stems to fit your application.

I too recommend Hankook AH11s.
My Hankook AH11 tires with balancing beads were installed in 2010 and still look/run like new. I use canvas tire covers to protect them from the sun when not traveling. My local garage got and installed them for me - I insisted on and got new date codes from their tire supplier.
I opted for the Crossfire on the Duallys vs extenders - installed in 2011 I think along with a TST TPMS. No problems.

I have the AH11s on our tag axle coach. 315/80R22.5

They are quiet, run smooth and stay cool.


I had too many problems with the Goodyear G670. Never Again. And the Michelins are waaay overpriced.

Look into a "cats eye" system for rear tires. Have one on mine and I love it.
