The core is located in the black plastic plenum under the dashboard. It might be accessed from under the hood or under the dashboard. Remove all brackets and screws holding it in place until you can remove the core. Once the core is out, you can have it checked to see if it can be repaired or needs replacement. Using a section of copper tubing and a couple of hose clamps can be used to bypass the heater core while it's being worked on if you need to run the engine.

Heater core replacement on HR Endeavor 2000

Thanks, I already by passed the heater core, a local radiator company close by told me that when I get it out he can rebuild it if it is copper and brass. He said not to buy a new one since the new ones are aluminum and plastic. I am chomping a the bit to get her on the road. I am now redoing the carpeted areas with the new coretec wood looking vinyl new tires change all fluids, grease all joints etc.
Maiden voyage will be on Oct 12, the day after I close on the house
