Help - electric problem

Have 390QS Berkshire MH, 2009

When hooked up to shore power, don't have A/C incoming power light on Megnam control panel nor battery status, i.e. Bulk, float etc. And don't have all the outlets working, l.e. Both TVs and 2 outlets in bedroom, however if I turn on the inverter we will get power to the TVs and the 2 bedroom outlets.

Everything else seams to work as normal, heat pumps, microwave, kitchen outlets, bethroom outlets including the GFI outlets. Have reset all the A/C breakers several times, at least all we can find

Any suggestion on what to look at next?
THANKS

You have an internal problem with the inverter, if in fact, you have 120 vac feeding it but it does not charge or pass current through for the receptacles in question.

I don't have a Magnum Converter/Inverter however, I would bet that if you look around on the outside of the Magnum, there will be two circuit breakers. Make sure one has not be tripped. Reset both to make sure they are in the correct position.

I believe those two circuit breakers service both legs of the coach. If one leg of the coach is not working properly (no 120 VAC power) and the other is, it certainly points to a circuit breaker.

Also, not sure which model you have but here is a link to the Magnum unit.

http://www.magnumenergy.com/Literatu...0Series%29.pdf

If that isn't your specific unit then I would Google it for the correct manual.

If the circuit breakers on the inverter are not tripped, the inverter will have to be repaired or replaced. You should be able to Google search for a repair facility near you.

Follow up. After some troubleshooting, opened the breaker panel and found the GFI breaker in the panel had shorted and put power on to the neutral power bus and fried all the wires on te bus. Will be up here for a while, they are shipping us a new breaker box and the dealer will install once it arrives.
