Help! lol - engine harness problems on a 1999 winnebago grand vectra

im in desperate need of a engine wiring diagram. i just bought a new to me motorhome and the dang mice ate the whole coil harness on the left side of the block. now if this was just a regular 454 it would be a piece of cake right. but im not that lucky. this is what i have discovered: the motor is a 98/99 L21 454 7400 vortec. what makes this motor special is that it has a coil near plug design meaning that each cylinder has its own coil mounted on the valve cover. if i could get a wiring diagram or even a couple pictures of the left valve cover i would greatly appreciate it. thanks for looking

Have you gone to a Chevy or GM dealer and asked the service or parts department for help? I've gotten them to print out diagrams for different items I was working on.

That harness should be available as a service part thru GM. Making one of these is not a simple operation unless you have the correct terminals, connectors and whatever version of special crimp tool required for that harness. Even when I worked as a tech unless damage was minor it was more cost efficient for the customer to replace that section of harness(from connector to connector) .

Autozone has some wiring diagrams. You have to use a chevy truck with a 7.4l engine. Then they don,t have much for 1998 or 99 but do for 2000 and newer.

You might find what you need. Good luck.
