Help with Remodeling '85 Vogue

1. Who or Where is the best place to go to have the living room carpet replaced with a wood-like flooring? What kind would you suggest?

2. Pics below: I want to remove the small ice maker/end-like table and the 2 swivel seats which are directly across from the couch/pullout-bed in the living room and replace them with a beautiful TV/Fireplace entertainment center from the living room in my home (which just could be too big for the RV), similar to the one I have pictured in photo album. My question is mainly how to go about removing the ice maker/table? How are these attached to the floor and wall, and how would I go about removing it?

Hello
Most of the time items are screwed to the walls and floor. The screws are hiding behind little wooden plugs a little bigger that the screws. Or some sort of cover. You may find that your ice maker is retained by larger bolts from the bottom. You will just have to look hard to see how it's done.

Depending on your time line if you can find some to replace the flooring they can remove the chairs and ice maker. In most motor homes the carpet is put down first so furniture has to come out in order to replace it. You can have that person leave the chairs and ice maker out after replacing the floor. Then you can install the entertainment center/ fireplace. Perhaps even have them do that in case their are modifications needed.

There is a member here that does flooring but he is in Tx not Ca. Perhaps a local campground will have names of people that do repair/remodeling in your area.
