Wow......that is unbelievable. I'm sure they would be highly insulted if someone told them this is not a campground.

I just used Google street view of the walmart parking lot. Incredible what they put up with.

Nice spot! We're planning on being in Bozeman in August. Do they take reservations?

Well, with all the Youtube videos and channels that purport living in vans and RV's and how to "Urban Camp", and not pay a dime.... and the massive amounts of followers they get....it appears to be the new way to stick it to the man, and live off the grid..for free!
It's the new way of being a full timer I guess ;(

I just looked at that parking lot, thru " MAPS ", there are 11 RVs in it. Do they have power and water?

Sent from a Wal-Mart parking lot, in WI.

IMO, the store manager sets the pace...not us, or other outsiders. IF he/she sees more benefit than cost to allowing this, then so be it. Register talks.

What if they're homeless? Does that count? If they're just clueless and the manager hasn't given them helpful hints or direction, that's possible.

The store manager needs to set the pace and follow his corporate policies (if they have them), so that people partaking of free Wally parking can continue to do so.

We like Wally. He has cheap fuel and all kinds of food to buy. Then we leave.
Others may not be as lucky to be able to move out?

P.S. we aren't screaming liberals, and from the look of the people in the photo, they're just chillin' instead of looking for work, but it's still the manager's call, isn't it?

From what I've read a few do have power, not sure about the water though.
