I attached my suction cups in the following manner.

I bought cups that have an approximate 1/2" stub. I cut approx. same size hole in the screen fabric using a hole punch. I then pushed the suction cup stub thru the hole and secured it using a grommet backing of the same size. The grommets went on tight.

As a matter of fact, I do.

Try Beasley Mfg.

Lynn and Paul 352.793.5055

They have everything for the do-it-yourself solar shade maker. No complete products.

More fabric colors than I knew existed.

They are in Center Hill FL. from Nov. 1 to April 1.

Don't know if the phone # is good all year. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
This is a great place. I have made an awning shade and window screens using their materials. Their prices are very reasonable.
