Well I did install the Koni FSD's on the front of my couch and WOW!!! what a difference... Before I could feel any little problem in road (even a small twig...not kidding) the Konis are so much better I can't even tell you. Don't get me wrong I can still feel the big issues but the small ones I just glide over them and the side to side stability is probably the same but the ride is much improved.

Well I had my front ball joints replaced last year on the Spartan Chassis and replaced all the shocks at the same time. I contemplated Koni's but went back with Bilsteins and I am perfectly satisfied. For information the very well respected chassis alignment company in Orlando would not recommend one over the other but did say that in the prior 6 months he had 2 cases where they had installed Koni's on DP's then had to go back to Bilsteins as owners were not happy with the ride.

Sorry, been out of touch for a few days. I'm glad you guys responded. I've been pricing the Konis and Bilsteins. The Konis are $77 more per shock and as Scenic Route pointed out, this thread turned into a Koni commercial. . Based on a lot of research, feedback, and reviews I think I'm gonna go with the Konis. I appreciate everyone taking their time to comment provide their opinion.

Check Autoplicity, I picked them up for 119.90 per shock with free shipping. If you enter the discount code of 2offtotal you will get and additional 2% off that price. Also I filled out an online survey they emailed me after and I got $5.00 back.

Ok. So the answer is Koni.

Where is the best (cheapest) place to BUY them?

At the time, this was the cheapest place I could find the Konis:

Koni Springs | Koni Suspension Products | Low Prices on Koni Springs

Fast, free shipping...if they still do that. ??

5 minutes ago I bought 4 Koni's for my F53 off Amazon for $116 each. They are sold and shipped by Wholesale Performance.

Early last fall the best price I could find for Koni FSDs for my DS/Freightliner was from shox.com; $636 for the set of four, iirc.
